Mmmmmm Pancake Tuesday

Today is pancake Tuesday!! And Mr. Leadbetter cooked up hundreds of pancakes so everyone could have some. Thanks to helpful parents and students for making the delivery of all the pancakes, syrup and napkins to every single student and staff.

Students asked if we could do it every Tuesday, but apparently Mr. Leadbetter is a pretty busy guy. Sorry folks, only once a year.

Are You Ready To Rumble!!!

The Grandview wrestling will begin again after March Break.  Last year we had great results at the tournament with lots of medals being won and narrowly missing out on winning the Boys’ County Championship.  Permission forms will be coming home shortly.  There is also one attached below and in the forms section of the blog.

A Sea of Pink

Students showed their support of anti-bullying by wearing pink today.  We watched some videos produced by Mr. Jarrett and his Media team, heard a poem from some of the 5/6 and 4/5 students and shared the importance that the power to stop bullies is within us all. We emphasized that although today is Pink Shirt Day, bullying prevention must happen everyday.
