Have a Great Summer!


On behalf of all the Grandview staff we would like to thank our students and parents for a great year.  “It takes a village to raise a child”.  As a team it has been amazing to see the growth of our children.  We hope everyone has a safe and happy summer.

Play Day at Grandview

Mr. Murray and the Grade 5/6 students ran the Primary Play Day yesterday. What a great day!  The students had a lot of fun playing the games.

Super Hero Day: Super Success Sources Say!


Everyone had a great day dressed as their favourite super hero and participating in Tug of War. Results are as follows:

Super Hero Dress Up

  1. Red and Yellow
  2. Purple and Green
  3. Blue and Orange

Tug of War

  1. Red
  2. Blue
  3. Yellow
  4. Purple
  5. Green
  6. Orange

And most importantly the question of Batman versus Superman???

Of course Superman prevailed.

Colour House Champion for the year will be announced at the End of The Year Assembly on Wednesday.

Grade Eight Graduation Information

Grade 8 graduation is on Monday, June 27th.  Program starts at 6:30 p.m. but please have your graduate arrive at 5:45 p.m. at Shenstone Church.  Tickets are not needed for graduates, however guests do require a ticket for entry.  Tickets were sent home with each student on Friday.  Please see the link below for details of the evenings agenda.

Lost and Found Items

Lost and Found

All lost and found items will be put on display beginning Tuesday afternoon.  Any items not claimed will be donated to a local charity.

Come dressed in your favourite Super Hero costumes and shirts.  Add a cape or create a new super hero.  We are hoping to have a tug of war colour house competition as well in the afternoon, so bring your muscles.
