What a Great Day for Our Track and Field Day!

Grandview students had a wonderful day at Lion’s Park today taking part in our school Track and Field Meet.  Students demonstrated perseverance, dedication, sportsmanship and respect for the other competitors.  Ribbons will be handed out at our assembly on Tuesday.  Staff did an excellent job running events and supervising students.  Students finishing first and qualifying for the Regional meet are asked to meet at 8:30 am on Monday to again head to Lion’s Park to compete in the Regional Meet.  Permission forms for the school meet also included permission for the Regionals, so no new permission form is required. Students are reminded to bring appropriate clothing, water and snacks for Monday.

Best of Luck to our Regional Qualifiers.

Track and Field Day 2015- May 29th

On May 29th Grandview will be holding its school Track and Field meet for students in grades 4-8 at Lion’s Park with Graham Bell and Banbury.  Winners of events that meet the regional standards will have the opportunity to compete at the Regional meet on Monday, June 1.  The permission form below, as well as the one that will be coming home, covers both meets.  If your child qualifies for the meet, a note will be given to the student on the Friday as they get their ribbon.  Additional supervisors and helpers will be needed for the day.  Please contact Mr. Bradford if you can assist us.
